Tickmill Trading Tools: Toolkit, Acuity and Signals
Compare Tickmill’s Toolkit, Acuity and Signal Centre by task. Check MT4 and MT5 setup, order controls, research limits and separate wallet-interest terms.
Tickmill’s current tools include the Advanced Trading Toolkit, Acuity Trading and Signal Centre for MT4 and MT5. They serve different jobs: managing trades, reviewing market information and assessing structured trade ideas. An analysis tool does not make a decision suitable for your account, and a trade-management panel may submit orders when you use its controls.
I would start with the task that is slowing you down. If you need a clearer economic-calendar view, adding another order panel will not solve it. If partial closing is the problem, a sentiment widget is not the relevant tool. Choose one useful function, learn its behaviour on demo and then decide whether the next tool earns its space.
Which Tickmill tool does what?
| Tool | Useful task | Limit to keep in view |
|---|---|---|
| Advanced Trading Toolkit | Market alerts, charting, correlation views and trade-management panels. | Some controls can affect orders. Learn the selected module before using it on a live account. |
| Acuity Trading | News sentiment, research, market alerts and macroeconomic or corporate events. | Aggregated sentiment is research information, not a forecast that must come true. |
| Signal Centre | Structured market ideas with proposed stop-loss and target levels. | A proposed price is not a guaranteed fill or a guaranteed limit on losses. |
The Advanced Trading Toolkit page describes the suite as free for Tickmill clients. The Acuity page and Signal Centre page describe their current platform features. Check what your entity and Client Area actually make available. A public tools page is not confirmation of account eligibility in every country.
Use the Toolkit for a specific operating task
The Toolkit groups features by purpose. Sentiment Trader, Figaro Market Data and Alarm Manager focus on market information or alerts. Trade Terminal and Mini Terminal provide trade-management functions, including partial closing and scaling. Figaro Chart adds charting resources, while calculators and a Correlation Matrix support planning.
Keep analysis and execution separate in your setup notes. An alert can tell you to inspect a chart; a trading panel can change an order. Being installed in MetaTrader’s Expert Advisors list does not mean every module trades automatically. Conversely, calling something a “tool” does not make its order controls harmless.
Before using a panel, inspect the selected symbol, volume, order direction and any attached stop or target. A correlation display also needs a timeframe and observation period. A recent relationship between instruments can change; it should not become a permanent assumption about diversification.
Read Acuity and Signal Centre as research
Acuity combines news and data with sentiment analysis. Its research terminal, alerts and calendar can help identify what deserves attention. Check the instrument, publication time and underlying event before applying that information to a trade.
Signal Centre presents structured ideas across several markets. Its stop-loss and target levels provide a framework to examine, but you still need to check the current price, spread, contract specification and risk in your own account currency. Use the pip-value calculator for the relevant forex exposure, with the correct inputs.
The provider disclosures describe Acuity Research Limited as supplying non-personalised analysis, without executing trades or giving investment advice. That research-provider description should not be treated as the regulatory status of your Tickmill account. See the Tickmill review’s entity distinctions for the broker relationship.

A practical installation and check sequence
- Identify the platform. Use the installer intended for MT4 or MT5. Desktop add-ons do not automatically become mobile-app features.
- Use the official download. The trading-tools FAQ routes clients through Client Area, Tools, then Platforms. Product pages also provide their relevant download routes.
- Select the intended terminal. Run the applicable installer and follow its instructions. The Acuity and Signal Centre instructions include restarting the platform and finding the installed tool in the Expert Advisors list.
- Inspect permissions and inputs. Review what the chosen module needs. Do not enable unfamiliar permissions solely because a tutorial tells you to enable everything.
- Check one function on demo. Confirm data loads, timestamps make sense and any order control behaves as expected. Use a demo account before connecting a new control to funded trading.
If installation fails, record the product name, terminal version and relevant error message for Tickmill support. That gives support a more useful starting point than “the platform does not work.”
Keep wallet interest separate from trading tools
Tickmill also publishes an interest offer for eligible unused wallet funds on its Europe site. This is a separate funding arrangement, with variable rates and account, currency, balance and activity conditions. Its published exclusions include Islamic accounts. Do not treat it as a trading signal, a guaranteed return on open positions or a service available under every Tickmill entity.
Check the applicable terms before leaving money for that purpose. Compare the account conditions and trading costs independently; an interest feature does not cancel the risks of leveraged trading.
Frequently asked questions
Are Tickmill’s trading tools free?
The current Advanced Trading Toolkit page says it is free for Tickmill clients. Check the product, entity and access conditions in your Client Area. This does not mean every related third-party service is free.
Do Acuity or Signal Centre place trades for me?
Their cited disclosures describe non-personalised analysis rather than trade execution. This is separate from Toolkit trade-management modules that can affect orders through their controls.
Can I use these desktop tools in the Tickmill mobile app?
Do not assume that. The cited installers are for MT4 and MT5 desktop platforms. Mobile app features and account-management functions have their own documentation.
Does Tickmill currently offer Autochartist?
The current official sources reviewed here establish the Toolkit, Acuity and Signal Centre. They do not establish a current Autochartist offer. Check the latest official menu before relying on an older review or tutorial.
Does a Signal Centre stop loss guarantee the maximum loss?
No. A suggested stop level is research information. Actual exposure depends on your order size and contract, and execution can differ during gaps or other difficult market conditions.
